If you still run a process with spreadsheets, email, or tools that do not talk to each other, what you usually need is not a website, it is a web application that runs in the browser and the whole team can reach from anywhere. This page explains what custom web software is, when it makes sense, and how we build it.

What is web software / a web application?

Web software is an application that runs from the browser without installation, authorizes users via login, and keeps its data centrally. Unlike a promotional corporate site, it "does work": it takes orders, runs processes, produces reports.

Because the data lives in one place, the whole team sees the same up-to-date information, nothing has to be installed on each computer, and updates ship from a single point. (If you only need a promotional site, Corporate Website Development is the better start.)

What kinds of web applications do we build?

  • Admin panels / dashboards: authorization-layered control panels that bring data into one screen.
  • B2B portals and dealer/customer panels: orders, quotes, accounts and document flow.
  • Process and operations software: approval flows, stock/production tracking, reporting.
  • Integration layers: services that talk to existing ERP, CRM, accounting and e-commerce systems.
  • Customer-facing web apps: platforms with membership, payment and content management.

Use cases and industry examples

We have been building web-based systems across different industries since 2018. The areas where our experience is concentrated:

  • Payment- and transaction-heavy systems: high-volume environments where security and correctness are critical.
  • Manufacturing and resource management: ERP-focused systems that bring orders, stock and accounting into one place.
  • Enterprise, multi-user platforms: systems where different roles work with permissions, including workflows and reporting.
  • Customer-facing platforms: membership, payment and content flows that must stay reliable under variable traffic and load.

A web application makes sense when

  • You re-enter the same data in more than one place
  • The team needs authorized access to the same data from different locations
  • Tracking process status (who, which stage) is getting hard
  • Your tools (ERP/CRM/accounting) do not talk to each other

Hold off when

  • A promotional corporate site covers the need
  • A ready-made SaaS tool genuinely covers your process

How we work

We clarify scope before writing code. Step by step, our approach is:

  1. Discovery and scope: we listen to your current process, user roles and the real need, then surface the most critical flows.
  2. Architecture: we get authorization, the data model and scalability decisions right from the start and keep technical debt under control.
  3. MVP development: we make the most critical flow work as an MVP and deliver a tangible result quickly.
  4. Sprint-by-sprint growth: we prioritize with your feedback and add new screens and integrations step by step.
  5. Launch and maintenance: we go live, then stay with you through ongoing technical partnership or maintenance.

Authorization-layered enterprise systems where performance and security are critical are our core area.

Which technologies do we build with?

On the web software side our core technology is RESTful API services built with ASP.NET on the C# and .NET stack. We pick the database to fit the job: relational where strong consistency matters, NoSQL where flexibility or scale matters, and suitable search/vector stores for search-heavy cases.

On the front end we use the framework that best fits the project, such as React, Angular or Vue, and cross-platform solutions when mobile is required. Architecturally we follow microservices, Clean Architecture and SOLID principles, and for deployment we adopt Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

For work that needs artificial intelligence we can apply methods such as document processing, smart search and automation. We choose technology by the problem, not from a fixed list.

What does web software contribute to the business?

A well-designed web application reduces repetitive manual work, prevents the errors that come from entering the same data in different places, and makes the stage of a process visible.

With authorization, each person reaches only the data they should see; reporting means decisions are made with data rather than guesses. Over time the accumulated data also shows where the work slows down and where improvements can be made.

Why Aforsoft?

The lasting difference in web software comes less from the screens than from getting the data model and authorization right from the start. We build admin panels, B2B portals and process software on that foundation.

Aforsoft has been based in İzmir since 2018 and, because the process runs fully online, serves clients across Türkiye remotely. Drawing on experience across many web systems, we build the architecture right and keep technical debt under control.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between web software and a website?

A website mostly informs; web software does work, it includes login, authorization, data processing and process flow.

If you need promotion, a corporate site fits; if you need operations, a web application is right. The two can also go together: your promotional site faces the public, while the web software runs behind it for logged-in users.

Does a web application work on mobile devices too?

Yes. Because web applications run in the browser, they open on phones and tablets as well; we design the interface to be responsive across different screen sizes. When a separate mobile app is required, we can build a mobile version that uses the same data with tools like React Native.

Will it integrate with my existing systems (ERP, CRM, accounting)?

Yes. The integration layer is an area we work in often; we build the bridges that connect your existing systems. Where a system exposes a ready API we connect directly, and where it does not we use a suitable method.

How is it priced?

Scope, number of screens/flows and integrations drive it. We share a transparent starting price range and give the exact figure once scope is defined. All prices are quoted as "and up, VAT excluded", and it is possible to start small and grow as needed.

How long does delivery take?

Time depends on scope. We usually aim to ship a working MVP within a few weeks, then grow it sprint by sprint. We share an exact timeline once scope is defined.

Who owns the software and the data?

You own the software we build and your data. The source code and data belong to you, so you are not locked in when our work ends.

How is my data kept secure?

Authorization, access control and secure data storage are designed in from the start. We carry the mindset that comes from working in a payment-critical, security-sensitive environment into every project, treating security as a layer built in from the beginning rather than added afterward.

I am outside İzmir, can we still work together?

Yes. We are based in İzmir but work across Türkiye and remotely. We run meetings online, so location is not an obstacle.

Can you take over software written by another company?

In most cases, yes. We first assess the existing code and architecture, then settle with you whether it can be taken over or a gradual rewrite is the better path. Our System Modernization service can come into play here.

Do you provide maintenance and support after launch?

Yes. We provide ongoing support for post-launch maintenance, bug fixing and further development under Product Growth & Technical Partnership.

Can I start small and grow the project later?

Yes, and that is usually our recommendation. We start with an MVP that makes the most critical flow work, then add new screens, modules and integrations sprint by sprint based on feedback from real usage. This approach lowers risk and lets you spend budget as the need actually emerges.

How do you communicate with me during development?

We run the work transparently: we clarify scope together, show tangible progress at the end of each sprint, and prioritize alongside you. Because we hold meetings online, the process is easy to follow from outside İzmir as well.
